Land Clearing Services

Reclaim the hidden potential of your property. Overgrown or seemingly unusable areas of your land can conceal spaces ripe for transformation. We specialize in unveiling and revitalizing these hidden gems, turning them into functional, aesthetically pleasing areas ready for your next project or enjoyment. Our services include:

Lot And Land Clearing

Lot and land clearing is the process of removing unwanted trees and vegetation to prepare a piece of land for development. This process is usually done before the start of construction to clear the land of unwanted debris and to make it suitable for development. Land clearing can also increase a property’s value by improving land aesthetics. However, it’s essential to understand that this process isn’t part of regular cleaning and maintenance. Trees and vegetation are removed with their roots and either piled for burning, hauled off, or ground into mulch. The goal of this method is to leave roughly graded bare earth with no vegetation ready for grading or land development projects.

Forestry Mulching

is an inexpensive option to partially clear land by using specialized machinery to grind and shred vegetation into mulch. This option leaves the roots in place only dealing with the vegetation above ground. This vegetation is ground and shredded into mulch spread heavenly across the ground and left onsite. The mulch can be used as a natural ground cover that enriches the soil and reduces erosion.

Stump Removal

Stumps are stubborn. Let RLCS’s Stump Removal process make it easy. We can grind stumps or dig them out and haul them off.

Grinding

Grinding is used in Lot and Land Clearing to process the vegetation after it has been collected. Vegetation is fed into one side of the machine and ground down to a specified size before exiting the machine on a conveyor belt into a pile or truck.  This process creates a more uniform chip size than mulching and keeps the material in a usable pile. Mulch from grinding operations is commonly sold or used for onsite landscaping and soil stabilization. Grinding is often used when burning dozer piles or other collected vegetation is not an option.

Bush Hogging and Brush Clearing

This is an inexpensive option used to maintain smaller growth in previously cleared areas. Previously cleared areas and fields should be maintained at least once per year to prevent new tree growth. Cutting grazing land during the growing season will take down undesirable weeds helping feeder plants to grow better with less competition.

Fence line clearing

Fence Line Clearing is used to gain access to property lines and fences that have become overgrown with vegetation. Gaining access to these areas can help ensure fences are intact to keep animals where they should be. RLCS also offers fencing demolition and installation.

Mulching Cleanup

Mulching Cleanup is a service RLCS recently started offering due to demand. Some mulching projects have left behind large material or more material than the owner was expecting. These issues left the mulched area difficult or impossible to maintain. RLCS has developed multiple methods of cleaning up a previously mulched area to prepare it for the owner’s intended use.
